  Isanaki 2.2 is a free Sudoku and Wordoku Boards generator, solver and helper.

Features:

  • The software supports 9*9 and 16*16 boards
  • The software handles both Sudoku and Wordoku boards. When you switch from Sudoku to Wordoku, Isanaki assign letters using three different ways: random letters assignment, random word from a 9-letters words list or user-defined letters assignment.
  • The generator creates boards with 6 levels of difficulty, from very easy to fiendish
  • Isanalki 2.2 also generates board requiring specific technique to be solved. Sevral criteria can be defined: technique to use, occurence number, difficulty level (special board generation)
  • The application updates automatically the pencil marks in each cell of the board to show the remaining candidates
  • You can enter a new board by four different ways: type in the clues manually, load board from Isanaki file, import board from text files (.txt .msk .sdk .sol .spf and .ss supported) and import board from clipboard.
  • You can enter the numbers (or the letters in 16*16 boards) from the keyboard or the mouse
  • You can always delete a number inside the current cell by typing the ´Delete´ key
  • Isanaki handles a 256-level of Undo-Redo. Whatever the source of the change (user entry, application hint or complete board solving), you can undo or redo it.
  • To avoid trips into a dead end, Isanaki 2.2 highlights the mistakes in red.
  • You can ask the application to solve the board for you: using brute-force algorithm or human-like logic. In this case, a log file of the techniques used is created and displayed.
  • Isanaki 2.2 can help you solving the board if you hit a stop point. The hint are showned graphivally so that you see the logic behind the hint.
  • Board display can be zoomed from 50% to 400%
  • You can customize the look and the features of Isanaki by selecting the options that fit your needs and tastes. Have fun !!!
